Fan Club Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, is the most important religious festival celebrated by Hindus.
The timing of Diwali is based on the Hindu lunar calendar and is usually in October or November. Diwali is followed by the new year, when within the family (and sometimes very close friends) the younger generation receive blessings for the new year from the older generation.
Do any fan club members out there know what Diwali means in Hindi?

I know
I am an Indian i celebrate diwali each year with a small party. On the party day we burst fireworks. The word Diwali is a variation of the Sanskrit word "Deepavali" which means "a continuous line of lamps" (The word 'Deep' means "light", and 'avali' means "a continuous line"). Thus, Diwali is the time to celebrate with lights.
