The Teleprompter is a classroom tool that helps you to engage children in shared reading, fluency building and individual performance activities.

With a built-in text bank it provides extracts from stories, poems, news stories and examples of traditional verse. The Teleprompter also has a very useful option to upload your own text, making the tool relevant to your current projects.

You can really let your pupils’ imaginations run wild and have them waxing lyrical by the end of your lesson! Here are a few suggestions:

  • Get lost in storytelling by narrating your favourite stories and your own text
  • Stop press! Have your very own class newsroom with the Teleprompter as cue
  • Use the whiteboard as a projector screen to engage the whole class

Where you can access the Teleprompter:

England: Year 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 6+, 7

Scotland: First **, Second *, Second **, Second *** (Level A, Level C, Level D, Level E)

Wales: Year 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7

N.Ireland: P3, P5, P6, P7

We hope you like it as much as we do!

Love the new teleprompter tool. I have been using an online version for a little while but this is much more child (and teacher) friendly.
Looking forward to trying it out with my year 6 news reporters

This could be a big help for us especially in our SPED class and in our church. I will try to search for it over the net and check were we could buy teleprompter locally.

Hello there. I'm glad you think that our Teleprompter Tool could be useful to you. It's not something you can buy individually, it's a tool that comes as part of our online resource for schools, EducationCity.com.
