In our early years activities, EducationCity.com has fostered a 'try and try again' approach, giving children as little negative feedback as possible.

This approach has been carried into SuccessTracker so that once an activity has been completed, the child always receives an 'activity completed successfully' message and 100% score as a reward. Mistakes that a child made before arriving at correct answers are not counted.

After receiving subscriber feedback in this area, we think there may be room for improvement here and would like your opinion.

What do you think to SuccessTracker for Early Years?
It’s great as it is - as long as they get the answer right in the end I don’t mind how many attempts it takes
36.4% (4 votes)
I would like both children and teachers/parents to see true scoring, including mistakes (like in the older year activities)
27.3% (3 votes)
Keep ‘high score’ for children but show the ‘real score’ for teachers/parents, allowing them to see where the pupils struggle
