Science Topic Tool
EducationCity.com's first ever Science Topic Tool has been added to the resource!
The new ‘Solar System ‘topic tool facilitates open-ended instruction of several key space science concepts. As well as learning planet names and locations, pupils can observe the appearance and key characteristics of the planets using colourful, true-to-life graphics. Using either a diagram-style layout or full-screen animation, pupils interact and engage with moving celestial objects that both orbit and rotate.
The tool can be customised using settings to suit different lessons, learning goals and ability levels. You can vary the difficulty by choosing to have some planets or labels already in place or add a timer and challenge pupils to complete the Solar System. Choose whether to show the full-screen animated Solar System as a reward and zoom in for a close-up of each planet rotating.
Engaging animations and handy functions make the Solar System tool fun and fascinating for both pupils and teachers.
