Play live has had an amazing effect on some classes mental maths skills. YeOur best pupils can answer over 60 in a minute which is an amazing speed!! Much faster than ALL of the teachers. This work has transfered into their mental maths in school. We are now encouraging pupils to play on the next year group for an extra challenge.
Would there be a way of setting the questions within the school. For example...It would be great to have a group of children on PlayLive who could practise their number bonds to 10, 20 or 100. This would give the teacher greater control over what the children are doing and could them pick up on the specific needs of the children.
