EducationCity.com launches module to address EAL needs in Primary schools!

We are thrilled to announce the launch of EducationCity.com’s brand new module, Learn English, designed for use with KS2 learners of English as an additional language.

Learn English:

• supports teachers with Learn English materials
• builds confidence and self-esteem 
• fosters independence in mainstream classrooms.

The Learn English module is full of engaging, interactive activities and methods needed to develop pupils’ listening, speaking, reading and communication skills.  Each activity has been carefully written and designed to link with a specific area of learning to support subject knowledge and social interpersonal language. The combination of materials within Learn English ensures that a broad and rich set of resources is offered to support EAL learners, improving both their academic language development and social and conversational skills.

Learn English addresses the needs of teachers and the growing demand to support EAL learners whilst diversifying EducationCity.com’s product offering.

Learn English is already being used in schools in the US with great success!  Learn English will be free to EducationCity.com subscribers until the 30th June 2011.
