Games
 EducationCity.com's highly engaging games are interactive in nature and use positive reinforcement and reward mechanisms to teach and encourage effort and achievement. The animated activities cover Literacy, Maths, Science, French, German and Spanish, with all games mapped to the learning objectives in place in England and Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland.

They target specific learning objectives, that are attainable yet challenging, age and grade-appropriate and support all the main learning styles using colour, sound, text, audio commentary, animated graphics and interactivity to appeal to the widest possible range of users. 

Play Live Maths
Play Live Maths (dependant on subscription) is a real time multi-user arithmetic game where children can test their maths skills against other children around the country. Watch your childs maths improve as they practice their mental skills whilst having fun.

Each game lasts 60 seconds to answer as many age appropriate questions as possible and try to get their Education.com name on the weekly leaderboard. Parents can control access to Play Live Maths and if a child's username is displayed on the leaderboard.

Tests
The Tests module provides children with practice SATs test papers for them to sit in simulated exam conditions. The tests have been written by educationalists to cover the latest curricula.

Topic Finder
The most effective way of finding appropriate activities for your child is by using the Topic Finder located at the top of each subject page. The Topic Finder allows you to select a topic that you wish your child to cover so that just games which relate to that topic are shown. 

Curriculum Map (within Features within the Parents area)
The Curriculum Map allows parents to identify the activities which target the specific learning objective they are looking to address. 

SuccessTracker (within Features within the Parents area)
The SuccessTracker (and mySuccess) area offers parents a powerful way to monitor their child’s progress. It provides a variety of reports you can view and print off, displaying data on your child. We record every question each child is asked and the answers given.

Preferences (within Features within the Parents area)
The Preferences area allows parents to change the custom settings of EducationCity.com, so that it meets your child's specific needs. You can remove the countdown timer from the screen, change the number of questions per game, change the level at which blue and gold stars are awarded and even hide the Quit button.
