Online Training

EducationCity.com offers complimentary online training to subscribers. We demonstrate the resource remotely via a computer in your ICT suite or classroom, making the experience as convenient and efficient as possible.

Whole School Training

Sessions run for approximately 45 minutes. We offer a choice of two sessions, which aim to cover the following aspects of your subscription.

1. Using Activities

  • Finding an activity related to the Curriculum Objective or topic to be taught
  • Activities both for individual and whole class teaching
  • Teaching Zone – Maths and Literacy tools for whole class whiteboard teaching
  • Test and Revision Pathways
  • Play Live – online mental maths challenge

2. Teacher Area

  • Setting up a myCity
  • Using Success Tracker
  • Creating Sets
  • Managing and setting up Homework (if subscribed to this module) 

Individual Training

Individuals can book a training session with a particular feature focus e.g. setting up a MyCity or using SuccessTracker. These sessions will last 15-20 minutes.

Requirements

Essential – Multimedia PC with internet access and speakers (or headphones for individual training).

Desirable – Microphone.
