# EducationCity Maths Content to Help Your Students with Their SATs

The 2018 National Curriculum Tests (SATs) start next month for Year 6 students and with preparation well under way, we thought we’d tell you how our content can support your students, ready for their maths test…

In this blog, we’re going to focus on maths content, which is not only brilliant as it ticks off many topics which may be in the test, but it supports and aids students’ preparation for their test and helps them with their confidence.

Below, we’ve put together a great list of KS1 and KS2 (or your region’s equivalent) Activities on EducationCity, that’ll be great for supporting the learning of numbers, measurements, time, multiplication and much more!

KS1

Fraction Heroes: #13308 – Compare fractions with like numerators or denominators.

Bar-B-Shapes: #346 - Understanding right angles.

KS2

Snow Hope: #377 - Multiply a two-digit multiple of 10 and multiply a two-digit number by 2, 3, 4 or 5.

Time Drifts By: #33300 - Solve written word problems by converting units of time.

Measure of Success: #5744 – Compare the measures of objects by finding the difference in length.

Summer Break: #736 – Solve conversion problems.

Pizza the Fraction: #32317 – Order unit fractions and fractions with the same denominator. Compare fractions using <, = and >.

Hot Seat: #500 – Problems involving numbers and algebra.

Tin Can Splash: #723 - Enter the co-ordinates of a square on a grid of squares with the rows and columns labelled in a grid reference style (e.g., A,3).
