The EducationCity Team Are Taking Part in The Suffering Obstacle Race

With lots of experience in running events to help raise money for charity, we’ve something slightly new for our team this year, as we’ll be taking on one of the country’s best races, The Suffering Race, on Saturday 23rd September 2017 at Rockingham Motor Speedway.

We’ve got a fab team of 19 taking on this really fun event and we can’t wait to see how they get on!

There will be three distances to run on the day so there’s something to suit all abilities:

  • 5k – 15+ obstacles
  • 10k – 25+ obstacles
  • 10 Miles – 35+ obstacles

For more details about this challenge, check out the The Suffering Race’s page.

This challenge will be tons of fun and will test strength and stamina, with tough hills and water sections, but it’s all in aid of a great cause, Make-A-Wish, a charity dedicated to granting wishes to enrich the lives of children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions.

You can sponsor the EducationCity team on their JustGiving page.

We’re looking forward to taking on a new challenge this year and are hoping to raise lots of money for Make-A-Wish!
