Here at EducationCity, we’re always on the lookout to create new content for our schools to use so we’re staying at the forefront of education, as well as meeting curriculum demands.
That’s why we wanted to let you know all about the new content we’ve just added.
Not only are all the ThinkIts now tablet-friendly but new resources have also been added to the English, Maths and Science modules.
All you need to do to find the content is type in the ID numbers to Search – easy!
Let’s take a look at the new content…
Duck Tales: #32387 – Listen to and read along with the story. Predict what might happen on the basis of what has been read so far. Identify characters, setting and major events in a story (‘A Day at the Duck Pond’).
Balloon Ride: #25930 – Read the word and listen to the speakers. Drag and drop the correct basket to match the word. Words use alternative sounds pronunciations.
Three Bears: #28221 – Read the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Drag and drop the correct sentences into the text.
Lower Key Stage 2
Ready to Race: #32154 – Begin to recognise the function of adding a fronted adverbial to a sentence by identifying if it shows when, where or how the action takes place.
Upper Key Stage 2
McTwist and Shout: #32593 – Read the text and answer the questions.
Silent Knights: #32270 – Spell words with ‘silent’ letters (i.e., letters whose presence cannot be predicted from the pronunciation of the word).
Chasing Waterfalls: #32363 – Interpret different subtraction vocabulary in order to answer questions including numbers up to 20.
Crazy Kayaking: #32362 – Understand and interpret addition vocabulary and answer questions with numbers up to 20.
Knights to See You: #32360 – Mathematical problems. Work out the missing numbers to make addition and subtraction number sentences up to 10.
Up the Creek: #32364: – Understand and interpret addition and subtraction vocabulary and answer questions with numbers up to 20.
Fraction Like An Egyptian: #26306 – Find half of a number of objects. Look at the objects and select the equivalent fractions 1/2 and 2/4.
Hang Tenths: #32327 – Look at 2-digit numbers and identify the value of tens and ones.
Pyramid Scheme: #26305 – Children select 1/3, 1/4, 2/3 and 3/4 of a length, a shape and a set of objects.
New Game: #32334 – Order numbers to 1,000 from smallest to largest.
Surf’s Up: #32328 – Look at 3-digit numbers and identify the value of hundreds, tens and ones.
Factor Factory: #32330 – Identify the factor pairs of various numbers.
Game Over: #32335 – Order numbers beyond 1,000 from smallest to largest.
Gnarly Numbers: #32329 – Look at 4-digit numbers and identify the value of tens and ones.
Opti-maths Prime: #32155 – Recall prime numbers up to 19 and work out those up to 100.
Wheelie Good: #32616 – Identify tenths and hundredths in both visual representations and number form, before converting into decimal fractions, with visual references to place value for support.
Use the Force: #22448 – Explore key vocabulary used when discussing forces.
