This special week was launched seven years ago by the RHS and is a celebration where everyone can come together to celebrate their love of gardening.

This year, the event is all about ‘sharing your passion for plants’ and some super fun activities and events will be held by the RHS to mark the occasion.

On their website, you’ll even find some brilliant gardening activity ideas you could try with your students, from building a bee hotel, to making a log shelter for tiny creatures.

Whilst we’re on the topic of gardening, let’s take a look at some of our English and Science Activities, which you’ll find in KS1 and KS2 (or your region’s equivalent).
