Please note: You can use the ‘Pick name from a list’ option in school if you want to remove usernames and passwords.

How do students log in at school and home?
At school, the best way for students to log in to EducationCity is via a shortcut to the login page on each device’s desktop – students can then log in individually and doing this means scores will be saved and you can set students work.
If your school uses single sign-on (SSO), logging in is slightly different. EducationCity can be accessed through single sign-on via Google for Education and Microsoft Office 365 for Education. For more information, get in touch.
At home, students should visit www.educationcity.com and log in.
How do I print logins?
To hand out logins, all you need to do is select the tick boxes next to students in Manage Users and then select Actions and Print Logins.
Using EducationCity
Can EducationCity be used on tablet devices?
Yes. You can navigate through EducationCity, access PlayLive and view Activity Sheets, Lesson Ideas and Teacher Notes on tablets.
For Learn Screens and Activities, we’ve added a tablet icon, to help you see which content can be used on tablets in an up-to-date web browser.
We have curriculum-ready tablet-friendly learning resources for most objectives in every year (where it can be done in an online format), but we are constantly adding to this to keep up with demand.
For content without the icon, we recommend you use one of the browsers available that stream Flash content on tablet devices.
Special Education Needs
Can EducationCity be used for students with special educational needs?
Definitely. EducationCity enables teachers to differentiate lesson content according to students’ aptitudes and abilities.
Our Activities, Learn Screens, Topic Tools, and Activity Sheets support all the main learning styles using color, sound, text, audio commentary, animated graphics and interactivity, to appeal to the widest possible range of users.
In addition, often the operating system’s settings can be used to increase the mouse pointer size on screen or vary the volume of the audio files to help students with visual/auditory issues.
