Feature Focus: Home Access

It’s that time of the year again, the last term of the academic year, and what a year it’s been already!

School’s nearly out and so we thought what better time than now to tell you all about EducationCity’s Home Access – and get you and your students ready for the summer.

What’s Home Access?

Home Access lets your students access EducationCity outside of school – it’s perfect for keeping your students entertained and learning over the summer break, as well as combating summer learning loss.

In fact, research indicates that as many as one in three children regress academically due to a break away from school* – making it really important they keep on learning.

With Home Access, your students can do just this. They can access work set by you, or explore EducationCity themselves. Even better, the content on EducationCity is engaging and enjoyable, making it perfect for keeping the holiday fun but also full of learning at the same time!

Why Is Home Access Beneficial for My Teaching?

  • Progress can be recorded: so you can monitor your students’ achievements – perfect for seeing where they are at!**
  • Can set consolidation work: to reinforce the skills learnt over the year; great preparation for students as they go into higher years. It doesn’t take long to set either with MyCity!
  • Parental involvement: with their child’s learning is achieved with Home Access – meaning parents can support them and see their achievements too.

Keep your students learning with engaging, enjoyable content over the break!
