Our phonics Activities have now been upgraded with 62 fresh new Activity select thumbnail graphics! They will help those with tablet devices access the phonics area via Puffin Academy more easily. What’s more, we’ve also added brand new speaker icons so that students can easily listen to the speech again!
EducationCity’s phonics Activities are available via three phonics programmes, those being Letters and Sounds, Jolly Phonics and Read Write.
This upgrade is a fantastic benefit as learning phonics is great for students to help them learn all about the sounds that make up words, which in turn helps them spell as well as decode words. EducationCity’s phonics also benefits teachers as they assist them in teaching a potentially tricky subject!
Additionally, you should be aware that Phase 2, Phase 3 and Phase 4 phonics come accompanied with consolidation Activities which reinforce the phonics learning that students will have completed during each phase. You can find these engaging accompanying Activities at the end of each phase, under ‘Reading’ or ‘Spelling’ in the following locations:
