A low-cost alternative to the whiteboard are vinyl spots, which are easy to put onto students’ tables and are ideal for covering up table top surfaces and making them into a writeable surface.

All you need to do to put them on your classroom tables is adhere them onto the surfaces – it’s as simple as that. They could also be stuck to a bare wall too and students could write answers to questions on them – perfect!

These dry erasable pockets are a very fancy way for students to learn. An easy alternative to laminating things too, they are perfect for practising tasks again and again.

They’re ideal for not wasting paper as the worksheets or printables that can go in them should be able to be used for a few years, which is great for the environment and for your copying limits too!

Don’t forget about plastic plates – they’re cheap to get hold of and environmentally friendly, as you can use them again and again whilst not wasting paper.

Just get some dry eraser markers and then ask your students to write answers to questions on them and hold them up. You can quickly see if everyone has their answer right – perfect!
