BBC’s Terrific Scientific: Learning About Forces

If you haven’t, they’re a series of investigations that are designed for schools to take part in. They’re great for helping your students get more involved with science and to help students learn about scientific concepts in a fun way.

So far, three investigations have already taken place and have been based on the subjects of taste, water and time. The fourth investigation on trees has started and will end on 4th June, and next week, the fifth investigation begins and it’s all about forces. The BBC has lots of lesson materials and resources for students on forces to help you, but we’ve been on the hunt for some EducationCity resources for Key Stage 1 and 2 on the theme, that you can use together with the BBC’s resources.
