To celebrate Earth Day 2012, has created a host of topical resources, including a fun lesson plan, informative fact sheets and a great poster for the both the classroom and for pupils to colour and add more information to as they learn.                                                                         

The Earth Day Network promotes the greening of schools and environmental education through the international observance of Earth Day, which more than 1 billion people around the world participate in, making it the largest civic observance in the world.

Our Earth Day 2012 materials help to educate about carbon footprints, the earth, climate change, the Yasuni National Park which is full of beautiful yet endangered animals and a lesson plan on how to make your school a green school. What’s more, four fabulous fun ThinkIts have been created to help get your pupils thinking more about the earth and their carbon footprints!
