EducationCity and the Curriculum Map

What’s the Curriculum Map?

The Curriculum Map enables you find content on EducationCity that’s relevant to a curriculum area you’re teaching. It’s really easy to use too – all you need to do is filter down the strands to the objective you’re teaching and find all the EducationCity content that sits underneath it – a perfect time-saver!

Here are some of our tips when using the Curriculum Map…

  • Export Option: there’s a really handy feature within the Curriculum Map which lets you export the whole map. This helps you easily integrate it into your lesson planning, and you’ll always have a copy to hand – brilliant!
  • MyCity Content: by clicking on the ‘+’ to the right of a content item, you can add that piece of content to a MyCity – this makes it simple to plan targeted content into your lessons.
  • Refine Search: you can also use the filters at the side to help you refine your search. Great for when you are looking for specific content that is correlated to an objective, such as an Activity or Learn Screen, to use within the classroom.
  • Tablet-Friendly Filter: there’s now a handy filter in the Curriculum Map, which enables you to easily view content that’s tablet-friendly. Perfect if you’re looking for specific content that’s fully compatible on tablet devices.
