EducationCity Welcomes Its Second HUB School

We are pleased to welcome Park Road Primary School in Sale as our second HUB school!

Joining Brierley Forest Primary School in Nottingham, Park Road Primary School will host FREE CPD training sessions for schools in their area (presented by a member of the EducationCity team), and will also act as a great source of additional support for local teachers.

We have developed HUB Schools with teachers in mind, as they eliminate the need to travel long distances in order to attend training sessions when time is already tight. What’s more, training sessions at HUB schools will take place on a termly basis so teachers will always be kept up-to-date with EducationCity’s latest news, upgrades and new features!

Rachel Fernley, ICT Coordinator at Park Road Primary School, has commented on becoming the second HUB school: “We are delighted to have been chosen as an EducationCity HUB school. At Park Road Sale Primary School, the use of EducationCity takes an integral role in enhancing both teaching and learning. The children enjoy learning by playing focussed activities, and teachers love the ease of tailoring this learning to individuals and tracking their progress. As a HUB school, we are looking forward to supporting local schools with training and sharing good practice so that children's learning through EducationCity is maximised”.

Senior Regional Manager at EducationCity, Dan Cresswell, added: “It is great news that Park Road Primary School has decided to come on board as our second Hub school. They are great users of EducationCity and know how to get the very best out of their subscription. This will be extremely useful for other schools in their area and will enable them to get up-to-date advice from other teachers that love using the resource”.
