EducationCity’s Advent Calendar: Day Eighteen

It’s the 18^th day of our Advent Calendar… and our gift today is especially for one of our subscribing schools, Meadowdale Primary School in Market Harborough, Leicestershire.

As in all schools, there are always 101 things on the ‘to do’ list, so when EducationCity approached them with a one-off chance of a free day’s labour, they soon found a way to use it.

So it was that Kathryn from our Marketing Team, utilising her annual charity day, was despatched to Leicestershire to give the school’s cookery room a fresh coat of paint.

“It certainly was a different day for me,” explained Kathryn, “but it was fun swapping a computer keyboard for paint brushes for the day!”

“The result is fantastic,” says Victoria Scranage, Business Manager from the school. “Many thanks to Kathryn for all her hard work and EducationCity for lending her to us. All we need now is our School Association to buy us a new oven and we’re all set to get our pupils cooking in the New Year!”
