Fundraising Fun for the Equinox24!

Our International Team Leader, Kim Lynch, along with the D’Ukes of Rutland Ukulele Club, were busy out and about this weekend fundraising in Oakham, Rutland for the Equinox24 she’s running in, in only 10 days’ time.

Kim and the sound of five upbeat ukuleles filled the high street of Oakham to raise money for Rainbows Children’s Hospice and Team EducationCity Fitties’ efforts.

Kim Lynch said: “It was great to be fundraising for Rainbows with the D’Ukes of Rutland Ukulele Club. We even met people out in Oakham who had benefitted from Rainbows which put it into perspective the fantastic work we’re doing.”

Their fundraising meant they raised an additional £51.00 for the £2,000 target the EducationCity Fitties team are trying to hit, which took the total team amount of sponsorship to £1,783.00! Wow!

Fantastic result Kim and the D’Ukes of Rutland Ukulele Club! Well done!
