Get Set for V2!

V2 is going to bring a whole host of benefits to you when it comes in the summer. Not only will EducationCity content be easier to access and available anytime, anywhere, it will also be mapped to the new National Curriculum in England and include our new Computing module too!

Now it’s March, spring has most definitely sprung, and to make the switchover to V2 as smooth as possible in the summer, we wanted to make sure you were including your EducationCity subscription within your school’s spring clean.

There are only a few things to do, as the majority of the changes will be taken care of for you. To help, we’ve created an easy-to-follow checklist. Complete the tasks below and you’ll be V2-ready!

1. Export scores from SuccessTracker

Data saved to SuccessTracker for the 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 academic years will transfer across automatically to your upgraded account, but you’ll need to download any data saved earlier than that to ensure its safekeeping. Follow our User Guide for step-by-step instructions.

2. Update your school’s classes and the students within them

Delete any students and teachers who are no longer with you and classes that are no longer used, so that the information you will see on V2 is current and relevant. Follow the steps in our User Guide

3. Tidy up your MyCity and Homework areas

Delete any MyCity and Homeworks that are no longer required, again to ensure that what you will see on V2 is current and useful. Follow the steps in the User Guide.

4. Update your Internet Browser

Make sure you see and benefit from all of EducationCity’s new features by using the latest version of the browser you prefer. Find out more here.

Further information will be released closer to the switch-over.

Keep your eye on the blog and City Today for further updates. If you have any questions, call us on 01572 725080. We’re here to help!
