Today, as well as parting for our Christmas festivities, we will be saying our fond farewells to our dear colleague Louise from Customer Services, who many of you teachers have probably spoken to.
Having trained as a teacher before coming to EducationCity.com, her input into the many projects she has worked on, from training staff and troubleshooting with teachers, to writing blogs, has been invaluable as she has an in-depth understanding of the ‘other side of the coin’.
Having had time to reflect over the 14 months she’s been with us, however, she’s realised that teaching is her true vocation, and so is leaving to teach at Fullhurst Community College in Leicester.
“Having the opportunity to play a small part in a young person’s life and hopefully making a positive contribution in their formative years will drive me to be the best teacher I can possibly be. I have had an amazing time at EducationCity.com, and know just what hard work and passion goes into every aspect of the resource.”
Louise will be sorely missed, and we wish her all the best of luck teaching at secondary school level.
