Hub School News: Park Road Primary School

So, today we have a special update!

Park Road Primary School became our second Hub School a year ago now, and to mark their first anniversary, we’ve been in touch with the school’s ICT Coordinator, Rachel Fernley, to ask how she feels the year has gone so far!

Here’s what Rachel said: “As a Hub School, we have been able to further our links with the team at EducationCity and be among the first to find out about the latest tools to use in class. We have also been able to access regular training for our own staff and local teachers. The children love EducationCity and so were delighted to welcome the team to our school and are proud to say that we are a Hub School.”

This sounds great, Rachel – thanks for the update!

What’s a Hub School?

EducationCity’s Hub Schools benefit the whole surrounding community! Let’s see how:

  • They act as a port of call for teachers in the surrounding area to get free CPD training with an EducationCity staff member.
  • They make attending training easier as teachers don’t need to travel so far to go to training sessions, saving valuable time.
  • Training sessions will take place on a termly basis so teachers are always kept up to date with the latest EducationCity news, upgrades and features!

Well, we’re really looking forward to working with you even more, Rachel and Park Road Primary School! Thanks for the update – can’t wait to be in touch soon!
