In the Classroom… Activities

Recently, we received some great feedback from a school about why they love using EducationCity in their classrooms.

Mrs Morley, from Treleigh School in Cornwall, said: “As a school, we have been using EducationCity for over 5 years now across KS1 and KS2. Our students including the reception class find it easy to access all the games and quizzes. The teachers find the resources very useful as they coincide with the units being delivered to their classes. The students find the activities fun and the walk through within each activity is a good instructional aid.”

You can see EducationCity being used at Treleigh School in the gallery below.

With this absolutely fantastic feedback, we thought we’d focus on how you can use our Activities in your classroom too, just like Treleigh School does.

Tell Me About EducationCity’s Activities…

Activities are engaging pieces of content which are mapped to curriculum objectives and are available across all subjects on EducationCity.

Don’t forget! Activities come with printable materials, like Activity Sheets, Teacher Notes and Lesson Ideas, to support teaching and help save time planning.

Why Are Activities Great for the Classroom?

  • Bright, engaging graphics: which make learning fun and can be used anytime, anywhere.
  • Varied questions: many Activities pull from a bank of questions so students can repeat them and get different questions each time.
  • Enhance progression: answers are reinforced to help students develop knowledge.
  • Recorded scores: students’ scores are automatically saved so teachers can easily monitor progress.
