Ahoy and avast there! 19th September be International Talk Like a Pirate Day – a great opportunity t'learn about life on t’ocean and work creatively wit’language.
What's more, it's a swashbuckling way to engage your class because everyone loves to nasty pirates, even if it's just loving to hate them. Just think about Captain Hook from Peter Pan or Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean!
To help you keep the theme going for the day this year, we’ve create some brand new Topical Resources based on the pirate theme. Covering phonics, Literacy/English and Mathematics, there is something for everyone, landlubber or pirate!
