Is Your Hour of Code Scheduled?

Next week heralds the Hour of Code campaign and will see hundreds of thousands of people worldwide taking their first steps to demystifying the world of coding.

It’s a campaign that is truly necessary given the amount of technology that surrounds us, and the speed at which technology is advancing. The world needs creators of programs not just consumers, and the Hour of Code hopes that understanding the basics of code will inspire more of us, adults and children, to study it further.

Last year, over 100 million people tried an Hour of Code and the organisers hope to build on that number this year. 2,288 Hour of Code events have already been registered in the UK, and it’s not too late to join them! Simply click here to find out more.

Look out too for our tweets on the subject (#HourOfCode) as we are heading out to a school local to us in Rutland to give them their very own EducationCity Hour of Code, with our programmers leading the way!
