We’re busy at EducationCity HQ with charity work for Rainbows Children’s Hospice again! This time, we’ve got a team of 8, the EducationCity Fitties (6 of them are in the image above), taking on a really exciting running event called the Equinox24.
What’s the Equinox24?
- The Equinox24 is a running event taking place at Belvoir Castle in Lincolnshire.
- It starts at 12pm on Saturday 19th September and finishes at 12pm on Sunday 20th September – that’s a whole 24 hours of running!
- Our brave team will take it in turns to run a 10km lap around the castle grounds. This means that over the 24 hours, they could complete 18 miles each, totalling nearly 144.48 miles as a team – fantastic!
So far, the EducationCity Fitties team has raised an amazing £1,783.00 on their JustGiving page – and they hope to get a huge £2,000.00 overall for their efforts.
