St Giles C of E Primary School in Walsall Is Named as the Third Hub School

We can now announce that St Giles C of E Primary School in Walsall joins Brierley Forest Primary School and Park Road Primary School as EducationCity’s third Hub School! We welcome them on board as a Hub School and we’re very excited to work with them moving forwards.

EducationCity’s HUB Schools benefit the whole surrounding community. Let’s see how:

  • They act as a port of call for teachers in the surrounding area to go and receive FREE CPD training with an EducationCity staff member.
  • They negate the need to travel long distances to attend training sessions when time is already tight.
  • Training sessions will take place on a termly basis so teachers will always be kept up-to-date with the latest EducationCity news, upgrades and new features!

Simrat Mavi, teacher at St Giles C of E Primary School, has commented on being a Hub School: “St Giles C of E Primary School is privileged to have been chosen as an EducationCity Hub School. EducationCity has been instrumental in creating an educational buzz to promote digital learning which links well to the new National Curriculum. The resource is being used by pupils and staff throughout the school as a learning tool, for activities in class and for learning at home – even during holidays! As a Hub School, we are keen to support local schools with training and sharing good practice so that children's learning through EducationCity is memorable.”
